Guided Kayak Fishing
in Sarasota, Venice, Tampa, Matlacha, Pine Island

Find out why kayak fishing is one of the fastest growing sports in the country!

If you have been interested in kayak fishing, but wanted to try it first, or been having trouble learning the skills involved, I offer guided trips for up to 4 people that are instruction oriented.

E-mail me
for availability or more info.

Kayaks excel for catching redfish due to the shallow flats and will get you into productive water boats can't reach.

Baby Tarpon are my personal favorite and can be fished year round out of kayaks in SW Florida.

GUIDED KAYAK FLY FISHING

For those interested in fly fishing, please keep in mind that saltwater fly fishing out of a kayak is very difficult. I can help you gain valuable skills in both fly casting and kayak handling, but in the end, patience and ability is what produces fish.

If you have never fly fished saltwater before, I would highly recommend a day of instruction or guided fly fishing aboard my Dolphin Super Skiff in order to gain the insights and fly casting skills you will need for the kayak.

Even tiny tarpon such as this one are a blast
on fly when fishing from a kayak.

Big tarpon off the beaches are a possiblility during certain times of the year. E-mail me for specifics and special considerations.

Larger snook move into the backcountry in the winter and are only accessible by kayaks.
